Noëlle Michel is a translator and a writer. Her first novel Viande will be published in March 2020. She translates fiction, nonfiction and children’s and youth literature from Dutch into French. She lives in Ghent (Belgium). She translated a.o. ‘GAIA’s Work’ (De werken van GAIA) by Michel Vandenbosch, together with Magali Flamme, ‘Witnesses of the Great War’ (Van den Grooten Oorlog), a bundle of testimonies transcribed by Marieke Demeester, a biography of Diaghilev from Sjeng Scheijen and the testimony of Bo Van Spilbeeck (Eindelijk vrouw). She also translated a colour encyclopaedia from Tom Schamp.
