Italian author Paolo di Paolo studied Literature at La Sapienza and wrote a term paper in literary and linguistic history. In 2003 he was one of the finalists of the Premio Campiello Giovani, in 2004 he made his debut with a story book Nuovi cieli, nuove carte (New heavens, new cards) and was a finalist of the Premio Italo Calvino per l’inedito 2003. In 2008 his book Raccontami la notte in cui sono nato (Tell me about the night I was born) was published. In the past he made valuable contributions to cultural programs for television and he also wrote theatre texts. In 2013 he won the Premio Salerno Libro d’Europa and the Premio Fiesole with Mandami tanta vita (Send me so much life).
