Emilia Menkveld

Paolo Di Paolo (1983, Rome) is a literary jack-of-all-trades. He published his first book at the age of 20: the collection of short stories Nuovi cieli, nuove carte (2004). His debut novel, Raccontami la notte in cui sono nato, appeared in 2008. It was followed by Dove eravate tutti in 2011, which was awarded the Premio Mondello, and Mandami tanta vita in 2013, which was short-listed for the important Premio Strega. Di Paolo has edited various anthologies, hosted television programmes on literature, written for the theatre and published two children’s books. Furthermore, he works as a journalist, essayist and literary critic for newspapers and magazines like La Stampa, L’Espresso, Il Sole 24 Ore and Nuovi Argomenti.
